Obviously I didn't read what was said, but, why talk about it? What purpose would that serve? It's like Ro said, matters of the heart cannot be explained or defined. Waaaay to broad of a spectrum for one blanket solution IMHO.
Whatever it is any of us do is really irrevelant in rectifying this age old dilemna.

and nothing else - the human condition and existence has been pondered for far too long to think that the answer to any part of it will be found on BAF - just like we ain't figured out how to keep weight off without effort, how to maintain a routine without falling off, how to keep ourself on track weight and life wise without issue - blah, blah, blah......

I just didn't have any topics on hand to start a 'turf war' today, so I went for the relationship angle. And why not talk about it - it wasn't discussed yesterday, merely asked - I thought it was an interesting question.

There's issues on both sides - true. Talked about them yesterday - figured we would slip the script today - no deflection - that shiot is still on front street - they're not 'off' the hook.

For me, it's not that cut and dry. I've been married for 20 years (as of yesterday) and I am ending it....fnally. It's been long in coming. My husband has very serious mental health issues. Now, that is not his fault. He was born with these issues, but still his responsiblity to seek help and treatment, none of which he has ever done. So, I stayed and tried to get him help and most recently, I got him through cancer and helped him find salvation. We've done everything we could have done, counselling..etc, etc, etc. I've earned my way out. I stayed and tried to work it out because that's what real marriage is. It's not easy. It's hard, real and it sucks sometimes. But when I'm done....I'm done.

Now as I look back and take ownership of my part in the ending of this, what I am guilty of is letting him get away with too much bull****! You see I *****ed, but didn't demand change. I just *****ed and then I pampered him and got punked. No ones fault but mine!!

As I begin to think about entering into the "dating world" again, I think back on my former self. The girl who wanted to sit in a man's lap, kiss him, talk to him, make him dinner, make love all the time...blah, blah, blah...sounds great, but the truth is that it's stiffleing sometimes. So, I promised myself now that I am turning this new corner, not to make the old mistakes. I will not put up with bull**** and require too much attention.
